S/4 HANA Demo Series: 01 – Introduction & S/4 HANA Basic TM Scenario with Equipment Based Planning
Introduction:
We are thrilled to launch of our SAP S/4 HANA Demo Series, designed to showcase the powerful capabilities and innovative solutions that SAP offers. We’ll try to cover a wide range of topics which includes TM, EWM, YL, BN4L & IBP. This series will provide valuable insights that can deepen the understanding of various supply chain areas in SAP S/4 HANA.
Demo 1: SAP S/4 HANA Basic TM scenario & Equipment Based Planning
In this demo series we will be showcasing a order based planning scenario for an outbound sales order scenario. Delivery will be created from sales order and Freight unit is created automatically. Transportation Cockpit is with equipment types (and NOT vehicles resources )are used to plan the FUs and create the Freight Order. Carrier is manually selected, and picking is complete for the delivery. One the delivery PGI is complete, freight settlement document is created manually from FO. Carrier invoice is created in core S/4 HANA against the Freight order (MIRO Transaction) and the statuses are updated in SAP TM freight Order
