S/4 HANA Demo Series: 04 – BN4L Freight Collaboration process with Basic TM Scenario
Introduction:
The SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L) is a cloud-based collaboration platform that connects all stakeholders involved in the transportation process, such as shippers, carriers, logistics service providers, visibility providers and freight forwarders. When integrated with SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM), it enables seamless, real-time communication and coordination across the entire logistics chain. Business network is part of SAP’s broader vision to digitize supply chain collaboration and improve transparency, efficiency, and compliance in logistics operations.
Demo:
This demo will feature the BN4L processes such as Subcontracting, Execution and Settlement with Basic TM scenario. Basic TM encompass features of SAP S/4 HANA Transportation Managment which does not require Advanced TM license.
In this demo we show case sales order creation, delivery creation, manual TM planning, manual carrier selection, commutation of Freight Order to BN4L (Subcontracting Process) & acceptance of the FO via ‘FO for Confirmation App’ in BN4L, Pick/Pack PGI process in delivery, Freight Settlement document creation in TM, Invoice creation and dispute management in BN4L, Reverse and repost the FSD accruals & Invoice posting for S/4 MM-FI invoice generation.
